Experience : |
As an associate with Brown Law Group, Jaejung Kim focuses her practice on business litigation with an emphasis on employment and preventative law. She also practices in the firm’s transactional team and provides clients with logical and effective legal advice. With her extensive background in learning organizations and technology, she leads the firm’s Knowledge Management Committee.
Ms. Kim’s experience comprises of a full spectrum of employment law/litigation, investigations of harassment and discriminations claims, witness interviews, and alternative dispute resolution. She develops new methods, procedures, or approaches to achieve desired results; evaluates facts and formulates an effective course of action; establishes and maintains effective working relationships; and provides excellent and courteous client service. Simply put, Ms. Kim demonstrates the skill and ability to think creatively, and presents persuasive arguments as an advocate in a clear and reasoned manner.
Her passion and dedication to educating the community – both legal and non-legal – made her an active participant in various organizations. She is a member of the Korean American Bar Association, Pan Asian Lawyers of San Diego, Lawyers Club of San Diego, San Diego County Bar Association, and American Bar Association. Also, she is currently on the Board of Directors of the San Diego Asian Film Foundation and serves as a Secretary. Ms. Kim, a natural adventurer, has traveled all around Western, Northern, and Eastern Europe, as well as South and East Asia.
