Fode Named Partner at Brown Law Group

Brown Law Group announced that Stacy L. Fode has been named a partner in the firm. Fode, who specializes in business litigation and employment law has worked with Brown Law Group since its formation in 2003.

According to Janice Brown, founder and CEO of Brown Law Group, Fode has earned the respect of clients for her outstanding representation in all aspects of employment law including wrongful discharge, discrimination, sexual harassment, whistle blower, employment agreement disputes, and wage and hour compliance matters.
"Stacy has played a critical role in the continuing success of this law practice," said Brown. "She has earned her partnership with hard work and dedication, not just to our clients, but to our community as well."

In 2006, Fode was elected to the San Diego County Bar Association’s (SDCBA) Board of Directors where she serves as its Secretary and co-chair of the Membership Development Committee. She is a past president of Lawyers Club of San Diego, where she also served on its Board of Directors, as its newsletter editor, and as the chairperson of its Equality Committee. She is a current member of the Association of Business Lawyers, American Bar Association and California Women Lawyers, and past member of the Louis M. Welsh American Inn of Court. She also was on the Board of Directors for Barristers Club of San Diego and has been active in the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program.

A recent participant in the ABA’s Women in Law Leadership Academy, Fode is also an accomplished speaker and author on employment law and diversity related topics. She graduated cum laude from UC-Santa Barbara and earned her law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law in 1998.
