Brown Law Group Names Stacy Fode as Managing Partner

Brown Law Group, a leading business litigation firm that specializes in all aspects of employment law, has named Stacy Fode as Managing Partner.  Ms. Fode focuses her practice on employment litigation and advisement and specializes in the representation of business clients in all aspects of employment law including wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment, whistle blower, employment agreement disputes, and wage and hour matters, including class actions.  Ms. Fode’s clients include employers in the energy, financial, entertainment, insurance, retail, technology, and telecommunications industries.

Ms. Fode is highly regarded as a media and community resource on employment and diversity related topics and has published articles on these subjects.  She has appeared on numerous television segments as an industry spokesperson.

Ms. Fode also has received numerous recognitions.  She was named AV®-Preeminent by Martindale; San Diego Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business Award; San Diego Metro Magazine Movers to Watch; San Diego Magazine Top Lawyers.

Ms. Fode is very active in the community and is a past member of the Board of Directors of the San Diego County Bar Association and a past President of the Lawyers Club of San Diego, a specialty bar association with over 1000 members.  Ms. Fode is also an active member of many professional and law-related organizations, including the Association of Business Trial Lawyers, California Women Lawyers, Defense Research Institute, and The National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms.  She was also a former member of the Louis M. Welsh American Inn of Court, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Barristers Club of San Diego.  She is active in non-legal community organizations including the San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation (Policy Committee), and I Love A Clean San Diego, where she provides pro bono legal services.

Ms. Fode earned her J.D. from Oregon School of Law and her B.A., Law and Society, cum laude, from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She has been a member of the California State Bar since 1998.
