Sarah Abshear is an associate at Brown Law Group. Ms. Abshear specializes in litigating employment and business cases for employers, including employee claims of wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour violations; breach of contract claims; class actions; and disputes with competitors or former employees regarding trade secrets, non-solicitation and confidentiality agreements, and the theft of intellectual property. She also counsels clients on how best to limit risk and exposure to future litigation, and represents clients in negotiations, arbitration, appeals, and government/internal investigations.

Prior to joining Brown Law Group, Ms. Abshear litigated a broad range of cases across multiple industries in federal, California, and other state courts. Ms. Abshear leverages her past experience working with both plaintiffs and defendants, including large companies, small businesses, individuals, certified and prospective classes, and government entities, to help clients determine winning strategies, informed by her unique insight into opponents’ motivations and plans. Ms. Abshear previously worked for Winston & Strawn LLP and Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP in New York.
